Ultrasound scan – Cardiology

Jorge Orts Cotrina specializes in cardiology with a postgraduate degree from Improve Cardio and is certified by ISVPS GpCert.

With echocardiography, we can diagnose heart conditions and provide the most appropriate treatment for the stage of the disease. Additionally, a cardiac check-up is recommended for anesthetic safety.

If necessary, we offer ECG and Holter to complete cardiac diagnostics that require additional testing. This service is also available for animals undergoing surgery as a pre-anesthetic safety check.

With a high-resolution machine (Mindray DC-70), we perform ultrasounds on our premises, both abdominal and cardiac. Abdominal ultrasound is crucial in veterinary diagnostics for multiple abdominal conditions such as tumors, uterine infections, liver problems, intestinal issues, foreign bodies, etc.
